Relax the day away in our Celtic Sauna Infusion Aufguss is a traditional sauna practice which has originated in Finland and Germany. The goal is to create a more intense and enjoyable heat while incorporating the therapeutic benefits of aromatherapy.

Cleanse your mind, body & spirit with the unique Celtic Sauna Infusion. A treat for the senses, this all-encompassing spa experience will succumb the mind and body to a state of relaxation. Your Sauna Master will sound the gong to alert you to the start of the experience, as you await by the fire pit you will then make your way to our Celtic Sauna where your heat experience will take place.

Perfectly positioned along the banks of the river with a panoramic view of nature, you will begin to feel recentred as your mind drifts toward a state of tranquillity during this traditional Aufghuss ceremony. Breathe deeply and listen to the music as the essential oils fill the air, aiding breathing and circulation, before concluding your journey with a thirst-quenching electrolyte beverage to rehydrate.

Conclude your experience with a refreshing dip in the Plunge Pool.

GROUND AWAKENING FACE RITUAL 60 MINUTES
A 60 minute stimulating treat for your face offering lymphatic drainage and gua sha techniques, triggering the skin’s natural function to repair and detoxify. Nutrient rich botanicals provide a sense of clarity to uplift the mind. Suitable for dull and lacklustre prone skin.

GROUND MINDFUL FACE RITUAL 60 MINUTES
A 60 minute soothing face ritual designed to restore balance and harmony to the skin. Your therapist will guide you through this soothing facial using warm hands-on face massage techniques and face reflexology. Suitable for sensitive, dry or hormonal prone skin.

SEAWEED DELUXE FACIAL 90 MINUTES
This treatment begins with a dry brush on the back followed by a relaxing back massage. The treatment continues with a mineralising seaweed facial including a gentle exfoliation of finely ground organic seaweed followed by a unique layering of real seaweed leaves and includes a facial and scalp massage..

Outdoor Thermal Village

Soak in the peaceful serenity of nature in either of our two bubbling outdoor hot tubs overlooking the majestic mountains. With seating for up to 8 people, our hot tubs provide a unique experience for you and your guests. Whilst here, you can enjoy the invigorating jets and soothing sounds while soaking in the breathtaking views.

The famed Thermal Spa Village, the first of it’s kind in Ireland, is the jewel in the crown of Emerald Haven Hotel. Our Products

In 2020, Emerald Haven Hotel got the opportunity to put their passion about natural Irish skincare products to the test and won the 2021 Irish Spa Awards for ‘Best Indigenous Irish Treatment’ with their unique Honey & Irish Whiskey Salted Body Scrub.

Nicola, our spa manager, who is also an avid beekeeper uses these bi-products from the hives to form the basis of a creamy lip balm, body balm and face exfoliant. These products are available for purchase from the spa.

Honey is a natural humectant, which means it attracts and retains moisture. The honey and beeswax, in these products are sourced from our spa manager’s very own apiary, located just 4 miles away!

Pick up our "Award Winnning Sweet Honey Body Balm" to take home. For very dry and dehydrated skin, eczema and to treat sunburn Apply liberally on dry skin after shower when skin is warm. Suitable for pregnancy.

Therapeutic Massages

THE GROUNDING RITUAL 60 MINUTEs
It is a massage ritual that focuses on the back of the body, lower legs & feet so as to ‘ground’ oneself back into their body. It targets the areas that are prone to tightness and tension. Your therapist will perform long flowing movements, working the length of the entire body. This is the prefect treatment for those who are seated or stationary for long periods and just need something to relieve the feeling of tightness and achiness throughout the body.

HOT STONE MASSAGE 90 MINUTES
Smooth basalt stones caress and massage the body gently and rhythmically. The heated stones are used as a massage tool to help induce a deep state of relaxation through their weight, shape and conductivity properties.

FREESTYLE MASSAGE 75 MINUTES
A bespoke freestyle full body massage tailor-made by your therapist to address your concerns; muscle pain, stress relief, relaxation or emotional balance. Your therapist will use a variety of massage techniques helping to re-harmonise your body.
